VERA: YOGATEACHER AND
Vera is a true “Nordlicht” from Hamburg, Germany. She completed a Bachelor in International Management and Master of International and Development Economics and started to develop an entrepreneurial spirit early on. You can find more information on her Vita here.
In the last ten years she has studied and worked all around the world, always taking her yoga mat with her. She is fascinated by other cultures and loves to explore different countries and learn about various lifestyles.
Her love for Yoga started when she was finishing highschool, trying to deal with the pressure and stress of the exams. Yoga has helped her to find calmness and peace within herself. After many years of practice, she decided to take her love for Yoga to the next level. She has completed her 200 hours Yoga teacher training in Yin and Vinyasa Yoga in Bali, Indonesia in 2016 and her 300 hours Ashtanga Vinyasa training in Rishikesh, India in 2018.
Vera started rock climbing in 2012, when she travelled through SouthEast Asia and instantly fell in love with this mix of exercise, meditation, and challenge; and never stopped since.
As a certified AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (since 2017) she loves to share her passion for rock climbing and yoga and sure has some travel recommendations for you!
Growing up near the Canadian Rockies, Travis has always had a love for climbing. He got a job instructing at local climbing gym while still in high school and has been developing that career ever since.
After finishing a Bachelors of Strategic Management and Organization, Travis took his love for climbing abroad by climbing all over Asia. He loves sharing his passion with others and pursued and obtained his Single Pitch Instructor certification from the American Mountain Guide Association in 2017. So far he has has had the pleasure of climbing in 11 countries across 4 continents; guided in Vietnam, Thailand, and China; and won two boulder competitions.
While living in Vietnam Travis took an acroyoga workshop and has been hooked on the sport ever since. He likes to practice often, attempting to learn new routines and flows. He’s helped organize and run workshops in Vietnam, China, and Germany; and really enjoys helping participants build the trust, communication, and strength skills necessary to participate.
He‘s always ready with some advice and bad jokes to help others discover the amazing thrill of both rock climbing and acroyoga!
